Two months ago at VIR marked the first time ever in the RFR1000 for Area81Racing's Tim Pierce. This time it was apparent from the beginning that he was more comfortable in the car and hungry for a win. Tim finished 1st in class and 4th overall on Saturday after qualifying 7th overall earlier that morning. The team did not race on Sunday due to a scheduling conflict.
