It has long been a goal of Area81Racing to transition to the Formula 1000 (FB) class. With Tim's Reynard 92S on the way back home to England, that goal was finally realized.
Tim will be in the seat of a 2010 Firman RFR1000 for the 2011 season. The car was previously maintained by James Lee Racing and won the 2010 SARRC Championship with David Clarke at the controls.
Richard is actively campaining his Reynard 87SF in the FC class and will be transitioning to Formula 1000 later in the year.
