Successful shakedown for car #81 at the SCR-SCCA Season Kick-off Time Trial Feb 26th/27th 2011
After a 4 month long off-season, Area 81 Racing was back on the track at Carolina Motorsports Park-Kershaw, SC. New parts being tested on car # 81 were lightened brake rotors and new low-profile body work. SCCA Time Trials allow a relaxed atmosphere for testing with the added benefit of timed competition. Final results for the weekend: 2nd in FC class for Car #81.
